It's probably all of us, right? Ever have an argument with your husband or your wife? Ever have an argument with your brother or your sister or an extended family member, right? Ever have maybe a falling out with someone in the church where you struggle to get along and you realize, man, harmony in relationships is exceedingly difficulant- difficult.
11:59
Anyone have this experience? Yeah, I think it's true for all of us.
12:03
And Philippians 2:3-4 is speaking directly into that situation.
12:09
Philippians 2:3-4 is really a call for us as God's people, how do you have harmony in relationships? How can we have unity in the body of Christ even though we're so different and we come from all these different backgrounds, and we have this tendency to wanna argue and to fight and to try to get our own way? Well, listen to what Philippians 2:3-4 says.
12:27
It says this, "Do nothing," not a single thing.
12:31
Not just don't do most things.

'Cause this is, uh, really a unique and absolutely amazing resource.
3:15
Yeah.
3:15
The, [clears throat] so the Listener's Commentary is, if you're familiar what a paper commentary is on the Bible that guides you through the, a book of the Bible, that's exactly what it is, except in audio fashion.
3:25
So it is sort of verse-by-verse, paragraph-by-paragraph study through, uh, all the books of the New Testament.
3:33
I've started working on the Old Testament, but the New Testament is complete, and just really trying to guide people through, uh, what these books are really about, what's the original meaning.
3:44
So they're not sermons.
3:46
Um, they're, usually I give a little theological reflection at the end, but mostly it's just historical background, literary context, uh, word studies, and trying to help, uh, in short, clear, concise, kinda down-to-earth fashion, help people understand what this book of the Bible, whatever one we're studying, is about.
