cycle opportunities environment any commentary on what you've already heard
9:07
um i think it's very hard to say something which hasn't been said today um I agree with what has been said.
9:16
Everyone has discussed the risk premium, which has been paid for your vessels being in the right position, geopolitical tensions.
9:23
I think the question going forward, and this is, I think, what the panel is about, is Are governments going to be more involved in shipping than they have to be? Is that maybe the differentiating factor coming new into the equation? We see energy is more of a governmental question now than just a private trader from Geneva's business.
9:50
And we see the same in container shipping.

We see a major superpower suddenly asking themselves why they don't have a big container line and apparently they're also thinking about doing something about that.
10:06
This is, I think, the big question for a private little investor like we are.

We touched on synergies earlier on in the context of the consolidation, so I want to stay a little bit on that subject and take a bit of a different angle with a recent sort of AI madness, and I believe there was an earlier panel touching on that on this forum today, but I wanted to get your thoughts on AI impact in this industry and to the extent there is one, how does it impact your investment thesis? But John, maybe I start with you on this one and see if it's something you are assessing or if you had the benefit not to have to deal with it yet as much as everybody else does.
