And I guess to start off, like, how did you come up with the subject matter? Like, where did the birth? of this film come from did it start off with the subject of the dollhouse or like word it all what was the seed of conception

it was both wanting to really explore the slasher genre and play within that Sandbox, as it were.

And so there's that part of it, how that genre is giving to the filmmaking process.

But I think emotionally, what really drove me was this...

Strange time that we live in where even going outside just to get groceries or commute or go for walks is starting to feel strange in this country.

In broad daylight, these places that sort of felt safe to be and welcoming.

kind of now feel a little scary.
