John TrimbleGUEST
There's also a slightly more advanced or what I would call a more cognitive higher class pipe fitter.

John TrimbleGUEST
And a pipe fitter fusion technician is thinking about how do I square something up? I have a 90, I have a flange, How do I make sure that it's level, it's squared to the assembly, especially if you're going to need to hit a hard point on an above-ground steel fitting or an MJ adapter going into a ductile-type gate valve for an above-ground water infrastructure? So they need to think, well, what fusion do I need to do when? And how do I do that? And so it's a function of technical training and experience that they're thinking ahead.

John TrimbleGUEST
You know, do I fuse this 90 in before I fuse the flange adapter on or the MJ adapter on? Or how do I come up with the length of pipe needed for an above ground riser? And so those training modules are field experience and a little bit more advanced.

John TrimbleGUEST
You know, we were asked recently to develop a program for a community college for polyethylene infrastructure built.

What one thing could we as an industry do better to keep this thing marching along as great as it has been for the last decade?
