So I'll start now, um, by, uh, asking you to describe for the listeners the device that you have used, uh, for the 10 degrees Celsius storage just to set the stage.

John TrahanasGUEST
Um, our initial experience with 10 degree storage was performed using, uh, a reusable cooler made by a company called Traferox, uh, out of Toronto, Canada, that was created initially for the lung 10 degree Celsius trial.

John TrahanasGUEST
Um, once the lung trial was over, at Vanderbilt, we had these coolers, uh, hanging out, and they weren't being used.

John TrahanasGUEST
And so being that we had this basic science, uh, work that supported, um, 10 C as an optimal preservation temperature, and we believed that was gonna be beneficial for hearts, we decided to put those coolers to work and to use them for our heart recoveries.

John TrahanasGUEST
I, uh, recall during our-- probably it was the third or fourth 10 C case that we ever, uh, did, the heart was already coming from pretty far away.

Before we get into what you found, uh, will you please describe for the listeners how you went about trying to evaluate this objectively?
