I'll go myth that we don't need a detox.
11:44
And it is.
11:44
It's a myth.
11:45
Because essentially, your body detoxes great.
11:47
Your liver, your kidneys, your lungs, your skin, even your brain do detoxing constantly.
11:53
On their own.
11:53
On their own.
13:18
I feel like it may depend on your size and a
16:24
What do parents need to know going forward? And what does this executive order actually
16:30
change? And I think the biggest thing is the confusion.
16:32
This is going to add to a lot of things here because, you know, with vaccinations, we've had this schedule set up and, you know, they brought up the point that these vaccinations are increased from vaccinations we had decades ago.
16:43
Well, that's because we have the technology now to make vaccines against viruses we couldn't do decades ago.
16:47
And these viruses, some of them, hepatitis, some of the meningitis vaccines, viruses, those things can kill people.
16:54
And so we want to protect against them.
16:56
So I think the biggest thing for parents is trying to avoid that confusion and And I would encourage parents, you know, have that discussion with your doctor, with your child's doctor and say, let's talk about benefits.
17:56
be clear, measles right now in this country, we're talking 35-year highs, right? It's
7:06
First of all, is just, is, is this just the beginning of more outbreaks, and are there certain foods that we should just be avoiding outright?
7:15
And Craig and Laura, good morning.
7:16
And I think what you're seeing here is the fact that these outbreaks happen typically every year.
7:21
This year happens to be more, more robust than most, and so it's getting more attention, so I think people are paying more attention to it.
7:27
And because of that, they're going in, they're getting tested.
7:29
We have these new tests, and so you're seeing the numbers go up.
7:32
But as far as avoiding foods, I think the main thing you should do is avoid the things that we know can cause contamination or are possibly contaminated because since these outbreaks do happen, you wanna protect yourself.
8:40
So then is this a mere coincidence that we're seeing these two different things pop up at the same time, or should people actually have a pause and concern about the food supply?
6:26
Yes.
6:26
When it comes into the weight loss category, there are some very strict requirements.
6:30
You had to have a high BMI, you had to have other medical conditions.
6:33
But now what they've done is they've opened it up and they've said, "We're gonna try this pilot program." They call it a bridge program, and it goes between now, July 1st, so starting tomorrow, till the end of 2027.
6:43
And what they wanna do is they wanna make it so it's a, if you're a Part D beneficiary, in other words, you have the drug coverage or Medicare, it's $50 a month.
6:51
Caveat being that $50 does not go towards your co-pay or your, or to your deductible.
6:56
And so that's gonna be a little bit extra expense, but still-
7:47
And how do they get them?
27:26
What does the next 12 months look like?
27:28
Man, that was tough.
27:30
I got that immediate fruit from some effort.
27:34
The next three months was crickets.
27:36
I mean, I went on multiple walkthroughs.
27:39
I submitted bids.
27:41
I joined a mastermind to learn more about the business and help keep me accountable with money I didn't have to spend.

9 MINS LATER

36:22
Yeah
6:54
They
6:54
do have a lot of benefits.
6:55
And actually, something people don't understand is that GLP-1s actually have an anti-inflammatory and kind of an immune response mechanism to them as well.
7:03
And that's where they think this comes in.
7:04
It's a study.
7:05
They looked at 12,000 people, and they had one of seven types of cancer, stage 1, 2, or 3.
7:10
And they wanted to see what happened if they were on GLP-1s or other diabetic medication compared to two.
8:29
It sounds like there is now a sweet spot, and thankfully it's on a spectrum.
12:26
What should people be doing to keep themselves safe?
12:28
And with climate change, it's going to keep going up and you're going to get hot.
12:31
We have heat waves throughout the year.
12:32
So you want to make sure you stay as safe as possible.
12:35
So you want to go ahead and hopefully you have an A.C. or you have some way of installing an A.C. Also, every state has what's called LIHEAP.
12:41
And that is an agency that can help you get air conditioning if you can't afford it.
12:45
They can look at income based.
15:46
yeah
77:48
Do you think he is doing a good job communicating what the role of ICE has been and what has been going on, of course, in cities like Minneapolis?
77:59
Yeah, thanks for having me on, Pam.
78:00
Good to see you again, too.
78:03
I will say this.
78:04
What really stands out to me is that Director Lyons is in an impossible position here where he has to tout the administration priorities and also the priorities of the Department of Homeland Security, yet still answer questions to the appropriators here.
78:21
And what's really interesting is normally an appropriations hearing focuses on the accomplishments of the agency and what they need going forward.
78:30
And that's not what you're seeing today.
80:38
ICE is supposed to be doing interior targeted enforcement, and CBP is typically at the border, and that hasn't really been the case on the ground in Minneapolis, as we've seen, and CBP was the one involved in the Alex Prudy shooting.
