1:00speaker_1NARRATOR
Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Saviour and my God.

John SugarsGUEST
How do you survive as a missionary or in ministry anywhere long term? How do you survive? I mean, there are so many pressures, so many stressors on missionaries and on church workers, right? And as many of you prepare theologically for long-term vocational ministry, how do you prepare psychologically or emotionally for the long haul? How do you not only survive a lifetime of ministry, but actually flourish in a lifetime of ministry? Now, I don't intend to run a workshop on that right now.

John SugarsGUEST
This morning, I want to share with you how Deb and I survived and thrived, not just working overseas in Dubai, but also many years in ministry.
