Yeah.

It was incredible.

And then we did all the work and, you know, didn't really know how to think about, you know, sales versus revenue versus profit and all that, and we were just kind of floating through on cash.

And I don't know, we were having fun, and we were just learning and building up a portfolio and eventually hiring people that were better at us at the execution of things.

And I would say that the first, you know, eight years were him and I figuring out what not to do, you know, getting our MBAs of, through experience.

And around, I would say 2017-ish, um, we kind of took a step back and realized we had gotten kind of good at a lot of things, not great at any one thing, and [lips smack] making money was one of the things that we weren't great at.

How long did it take you to figure that part out?
