2:59
Yeah.
2:59
I'd say that by the time we got to Cannes this year, it's less about will it happen, and much more like, okay, but what are we actually trying to achieve? Like, is this just AI jazz hands? Or is there something actually there under the hood? Obviously all the coding tools have made building things much faster, so isn't it possible to build things that do things much quicker and better? And I think it comes down to a few things, right? Are you in it for the AI jazz hands? Are you in it for more direct paths, which means, like, taking back an ad tech tax, right? If you can go more direct.
3:31
Are you in it for, like, actual, like, operational efficiency? It's much faster to set things up if you can have a system do the, the legwork.
3:39
Or are we building something that's actually more performant? Are we making something better with this, right? And I think as we talk to people, each person you talk to is now going after one of those things.
3:51
But it is all four of those, but inside even, like, a large organization, an agency, a whole co, our clients, it's some subset of those.
4:00
Each of those goals requires different things to get built.
4:03
Now, what I would say is in the progress towards that, it seems to be fairly clear we're in the, an agent that can just read stuff, like a discovery agent, a planning agent, a like packaging agent, those are pretty low risk and they're definitely possible, right? And that helps the planning process, makes it faster, no trouble.

11:53
Yeah
105:44
Right.
105:45
And they're all free.
105:46
So if you come down here, if, if you live in town or if you come in from out of town, this area of the Mall, which is just before you get to the Capitol Building, is spectacular because you've got six or seven, maybe more, Smithsonian museums.
105:59
The National Gallery, you got the original Smithsonian, Air and Space, Native American.
106:03
You got the African American museum.
106:05
They're all here in this area, this one area.
106:08
They're all free, and you can just spend the entire day going from museum to museum to museum.
106:41
Cut 33.
2:37
yeah and i find that hard to believe because i mean i've obviously listened to you uh and watch you on socials and and you're very calm and you're very collected so hearing you say that you you predict you know got got chucked out effectively because you said hold on a minute you can't talk to me like that which is fair enough it surprises me so so going back to timber and wood and working as a landscaper tell us exactly about what you do what you use it for what your most common materials are yeah
3:06
I just we use it all for all sorts of things really like you know obviously we're using a lot of softwood and and occasionally I get to work with some green oak doing some pergolas and you know using green oak you can you can work it can't you it's definitely easy to work when it's green than what it is when it's hard.
3:25
I've got a friend of mine, Dave, who's a roofing carpenter.
3:29
And I tell him that you're a friend of mine.
3:32
I sort of drop your name, I do a bit of name dropping now and again.
3:35
And Dave does a lot of roof carpentry, works with a lot of hardwoods.
3:41
But for me, I think that I sort of, found this, I've been on a bit of a journey the last few years, and I started looking at wood and what you can actually do with wood.
5:47
How do you actually get that across to your clients and sell it to them in the first place?
5:43
Yes
5:43
... and he'd tell people, "Oh, no, the economy's doing great.
5:46
Doesn't matter what you're really feeling and the fact you can't put food on the table.
5:49
The economy's doing great." I think President Trump is probably more in tune with working-class people and the struggle that they have to, to make ends meet, put food on the table, put clothes on their kids, you know, keep a roof over their head, and he's doing a lot of things to try to make it for- more affordable, including now the tax impact of the big, beautiful bill.
6:09
People are gonna be getting more money back at the, uh, it, with the refunds from the end of the year.
6:14
But it's still a big question because a lot of people still are not feeling it.
6:17
Gas prices coming down is a very good thing because on every street corner, now you're seeing, with the exception of California, of course, you're seeing gas below $2, uh, $3 a gallon, and in some cities, you're seeing it below $2 and 50 cents a gallon.... and that makes people feel good.
6:44
Oh, it never ended, right?
45:58
... and Rod Wyden
45:58
...
45:58
if the best they can do is boycott, and Rod Wyden's going to hold a competing town hall in Oregon, I mean, if that's the best they can do, I, I think they need to up their game.
46:08
We, we had Matt Bennett on yesterday, who was a big, uh, col- he was a, a FOB, a friend of Bill Clinton back in the day.
46:16
He helped co-found Third Way.
46:18
Uh, they held a retreat in, uh, Loudoun County, Virginia, a couple of weeks ago in which they basically said that the Democratic Party is lost and adrift.
46:27
It has no messaging.

9 MINS LATER

55:06
And I'm wondering, are we gonna use some of those troops that are amassing at the border- To go into Mexico? Can you imagine that?
