So for our audience that are listening, what actually is an abortion, and how does it work?
1:47
Yeah.
1:47
So when we talk about abortion, and this is one of those funny things, uh, about the naming of it, is back in the old days, an abortion would be a pregnancy that ended in any way, shape, or form in the sort of first half of the pregnancy.
2:01
Um, and that would include spontaneous abortion, which has now been relabeled and described as miscarriage or induced abortion, which is what we still call as abortion or some people refer to as a termination of pregnancy.
2:11
So it's been intentionally, um, uh, interrupted, uh, the pregnancy.
2:17
So, um, that's what I'm, I'm referring to as we go forward when I say abortion.
2:22
So someone who has chosen to end their pregnancy for whatever reason, it's not the right time, they don't want to have children, their family's complete, whatever, um, will then, uh, seek an abortion, and there's several different ways of doing that.
