But is that noise that's been going on around the 49ers? Do you think that that has a chance to be somewhat of a distraction this season for this team?

Well, you know, it kind of mirrors a couple of years ago when Brennan Ayoub was going through the contract.

Not the stuff that he's doing right now, but, you know, he was on the field.

He was off the field.

It was preseason.

It was during practices.

And that was directly into the locker room.

So what are your expectations for San Francisco?

So expectations are ticked down from the last couple years, but have they fixed some of those issues of not having backups that are ready to fill in?

Yeah, I mean, at, at some places they have.

I mean, you mentioned the wide receivers.

Let's go through them.

Mike Evans is out.

They call it tightness, but Mike Evans is always hurt.

Christian Kirk hasn't participated in camp at all.

Do you think Stripling will see the field enough to contend for this thing?

You know, they, they remind me a lot of say the Padres, and I know the Padres are getting it together and they have a vastly different record, but if you just look at the talent, I think that's what's most frustrating for Giants fans.

And as a fan what you do is you mentally prepare for those kind of things.

Well, you go into a season like this, and you look at the left side of the infield, guys like Chapman and Adames, and y- you know, you look at what Bryce Eldridge is, and you hope that Devers could be k- kind of settled in a little bit and all, all these...

[laughs]

So what lessons can be learned or taken from the broader equestrian learning from that success?

Yeah.

So it is the team effect from the individual PBR series.

So again, creating the teams, and that causes a little bit of heartburn for folks too, right? Because especially bull riding in this case has always been an individual sport, and when you teamify that it creates this really struggle of, "Wait a minute, it's not a team, it's one man on a bull against the bull, and that's how that should be, an individual sport instead of a team sport." But you look at the generations of cowboys who have been through this, and you look at the winner this year, Sean Krymber, whose father is a coach currently in the PBR team series.

It goes to show that these lessons are try it, experience it, look at what other sports are doing and how they're growing and how they're expanding, and then how do you introduce new fans to the sport? 'Cause a lot of folks, they wouldn't even know how to attend or even how to cheer for it if you don't have some sort of cheat sheet.For them to say, "Hey, you need to stay on the bull for eight seconds, and here's how that goes." So again, I just feel like there's an awful lot of mashups.
