At times we'll pull up on a fire scene and we'll have volunteers that maybe aren't physically capable or haven't had the training to go inside of a fire with us.

Then we have no way of knowing which one of those individuals they are.

They concurred that the volunteers would not be entitled to that county funding any longer and would be on their own, which is scary, frankly, because that means that they got to figure out how to do it all with the added stress of keeping the lights on and the doors open.
