uh police presence i think

First of all, we had a ribbon cutting at another Hindu temple literally the day after this broke in the news.

And I can tell you that we did our best to work with them to somewhat contain the announcement.

We didn't want a copycat.

So their large celebration during the celebration of Navaratri was somewhat stunted and not getting a lot of press coverage for it.

But I can tell you from that experience, people did feel safe.

There was only one police officer in the neighborhood as part of that patrol.

So how do you as a local leader combat that rhetoric locally?

We're going to move forward now to hear from us from the 60th Mayor of Aurora, champion small business, champion sustainable economic growth, Mayor John Laesch.

So first, thanks to the community for coming out and supporting the Prisco family today, but also for the past 100 years or 60 years or 10 years, however long you've been here in Aurora.

I think it's absolutely fantastic that they've reached this milestone.

And for any business to survive 100 years, you know that they're doing something right.

And I think one of the core ingredients is they see themselves as members of the community.

I don't think they see a parking lot full of customers.

They see a parking lot full of neighbors.
