What do you make of this war between Trump and parts of the press? It's not new entirely, but does he still have a lot of support among his base for this fake news narrative? Or is it starting to wear a bit thin?

Well, sure he does, Caroline.

I mean, I think there's nothing that Trump's base is more head up about than the insanely biased news coverage of outlets like CNN.

Trump really can't go wrong attacking those left-wing news sources, but he's going to lose on the law.

You know, Trump lost... an almost identical case a year and a half ago when he temporarily banned the Associated Press from flying on Air Force One.

The principle is you don't have to give White House press briefings, but if you do, you can't discriminate on the basis of content or viewpoint, which obviously is what's going on here.

So Trump has already lost a preliminary injunction in this case, so he's not trying to win this battle legally.
