Can, can you talk a little bit about that part of it?
9:53
Yeah.
9:54
So you can ratify by not doing things as well, right? So, and, and there was actually, uh, there's another case that has to do with AI voice, um, that is in the mortgage side, that the mortgage company kept going out, kept, found out what was happening, lead generator, and then kept going back to the clients anyway, right? And that case is the opposite of what had happened with Allstate, right? So they, they were found to have ratified that, that behavior from the lead gen.

But the business benefit situation is, are you getting a bene- business benefit from this, and would it be unfair to allow you to keep that business benefit while saying, "Oh, we're, we're not responsible for these people," right? Part of that has to go...
10:47
The reason Allstate got, I don't wanna say got away with it, but Allstate looks better in this is because they stopped as quickly as possible.
10:56
You're always gonna have some negligible amount of business benefit.
13:58
I'm just, I'm curious what you're seeing there, what you're hearing there, what, why you suspect lenders are, are treading very carefully these days.
14:07
Yeah.
25:44
No court in the country is gonna hold you responsible, right?
25:48
I would say the thing that I would add to this is ties back to the conversation we just had about 50 states, right? One, we are quickly running into the same path with AI laws that we already have with privacy laws and that we're going to be looking at 20 different state laws on AI.
26:08
which is frustrating.
26:10
It's great for my business.
26:12
Frustrating overall, though.
26:14
Second is I see it so much with the disclosure, Rich, and even just the recorded line, right? If you're using AI voice, it's a recorded line.
26:29
That's how it works, right? As such, in 12 to 13 states, you have to say, hey, you're on a recorded line.

5 MINS LATER

It's like, but- It's not legal.
