1:29
I was working in commercial radio in Leeds at a radio station called Radio Air with people like James Whale and various other people who've gone on to interesting things.
1:40
And we had a promotions manager with the name Dave Bigger.
1:46
and dave and i got on really well family's gotten well and everything else and we got to know each other and uh then he he decided he was going to move and he went to sheffield to sheffield arena yeah and he rang me up from sheffield arena and said um do you fancy being the voice of ice hockey in in sheffield and i said i know nothing about ice hockey He said, oh, don't worry, we'll teach you.
2:13
And at the time, I was a little mercenary.
2:15
I said, well, come on, how much money is in this? And he said, we haven't got any money.
2:19
I said, okay.

7:56
i love it i hear you tell me something because see at Seahawk Media we are only a WordPress agency and most of our clients are like I would say like under the ten thousand dollar range obviously you do much bigger projects as well but we only do WordPress you guys do WordPress, Webflow, Shopify all other stuff so if let's say somebody comes for a rebuild and let's say they have a I don't know five thousand page content for website and they want to move to something else what would you recommend and why
8:24
Look, I'm a big fan of WordPress, mainly because it's been tried and tested and it's really robust from a marketing perspective.
8:32
It's really good for the end user, the webmaster to be able to add content or make changes to the site.
8:39
We kind of train our clients up so they get, you know, videos and how to's to kind of manage your own site.
8:46
And we kind of let them do as much or as little as they want.
8:49
So WordPress is generally where we land.
8:53
if it's a simpler site not super complex features not super not a ton of content like a big blog we might nudge them towards webflow it's a really simple system it's getting more robust i'd still say it It lacks a little bit when you run into complex features.
13:59
i hear you that's pretty cool and how's your team spread spread out are they like the developers are based all over the world are they in certain region
6:34
So from what you see at Huntress and, you know, previously and in your other work, what sort of business practices are cyber criminals adopting that have been useful for them, that have made life, I guess, easier for them or more profitable for them? And I think the follow-up question is, how can we make things harder for them? How can we disrupt that? How can we take away those advantages from them?
6:58
Well, yeah, we've been, and I know I certainly have been trying to fight this sort of, I don't want to say stigma or stereotype, but there's an easy perception that whatever adversary or threat actor or hacker, if we're using, I don't know, whatever the media term kind of labels on this thing.
7:16
Uh, knowing that they're thinking that that entity is some lone kid in a basement hacker hoodie on a projector pointed at the face, like a Hollywood movie makes it out to be.
7:27
I think the reality now is that look, cyber crime and the enemies that we're up against are organized cyber crime.
7:34
And it's not just one entity.
7:36
It's multiple.
7:37
It's one P it's a lot of people.

17 MINS LATER

24:12
But yeah, I think we're using it a lot.
128:44
Uh, what's gonna be happening over the weekend?
128:46
(inhales deeply) Yep.
128:47
Uh, the heat is on yet again.
128:49
Um, actually, interesting point over the next few days here, and I think, don't think the focus of the heat will be across London.
128:54
It normally is, of course, um, but, uh, this time around, actually, I think the, the hotspots will be further west across England, as it was today.
129:04
So, today we reached 32 degrees, but not in London.
129:07
Uh, we reached 32 degrees across Ross-on-Wye.
130:24
Is this going to be the pattern for the rest of the month and through August?
