And so, you know, as I think about this through the, the lens of your childhood, you didn't know it, but you had this great opportunity to osmotically kind of breathe in your future job.

Absolutely.

But I would say my path was anything but direct.

So I went to college up in New Hampshire at Dartmouth.

When I graduated, I followed my heart and moved to Washington, D.C. to be near my college girlfriend.

About a month later, she broke up with me.

[laughs] It wasn't exactly the career plan I had envisioned.
