Let's go.
14:10
So the n- the original title was gonna be The 4:9 Principle based on Philippians 4:9.
14:15
Let's go back just a little ways, and Tommy Newberry, in fact, that book that sits right there, those on YouTube, that yellow book right there, wrote The 4:8 Principle, uh, one of the most impactful books that, uh, I've, uh, really read, uh, in, in my career in terms of understanding that the way we think, our mindset, is so important.
14:33
And Philippians 4:8 will ultimately say, "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is just," if those things excellent or praiseworthy, then we should think on those things.
14:45
And many times that thinking, uh, is where leaders get stuck, though.
14:49
And I just felt that the Philippians 4:9, which ultimately says, "Whatever I've taught you, whatever I've shown you, whatever I've modeled, put those things into practice, and the God of peace will be with you." And so we have to take these things that we think on and reflect on a regular basis, we gotta put them into practice if we're gonna bear fruit like we wanna bear fruit in our lives.
15:10
And that was the foundational verse, if you will.

6 MINS LATER

Okay
18:33
What you call inside your book, the beast, you know, how do we overcome that fear of either I do or I don't?
18:40
Yeah.
18:40
I mean, if you think about that, chapter two is, you know, just knock on the door because fear is something that that drives us.
18:46
There's no doubt about it.
18:48
you know, early in my career, very early in my career.
18:51
And even I fight it today.
18:52
I mean, everybody's got them.
23:43
Talk a little bit about how you consult with people and how you coach individuals when you have to make that hard decision about something they don't want to hear.
5:39
But talk about one of those and just dig a little bit deeper into that.
5:43
Sure.
5:43
So many different ways to, to think about this.
5:45
But in that collecting awesome people, I had a, a mentor of mine over 20 years ago.
5:51
Uh, he was a pastor as well, and he said something to me.
5:53
He said, "Life is relationships.
5:54
The rest is just details." And what I take from that really is that, you know, ultimately as leaders, [laughs] you know, another, uh, whether it's a cheesy cliche or not, we're either going into a crisis, in the middle of a crisis, or coming out of a crisis.
10:09
... or, "I really want help with that." And, and I know everybody's different, but there must be some commonalities about w- what most people really look for in a, in a great executive coach.
5:18
But talk about one of those and just dig a little bit deeper into that.
5:21
So many different ways to think about this, but in that collecting awesome people, I had a mentor of mine over 20 years ago.

And what I take from that really is that ultimately as leaders, whether it's a cheesy cliche or not, we're either going into a crisis, in the middle of a crisis, or coming out of a crisis.
5:47
In those times that we're either in the crisis or going into it, that's not the time to build the relationships that you need to have you help people go through that.
5:56
Look, I believe that we are most powerfully positioned to help the person that we once were.
9:49
And I know everybody's different, but there must be some commonalities about what most people really look for in a great executive coach.
4:48
But talk about one of those and just dig a little bit deeper into that.
4:51
Sure.
4:51
So many different ways to, to think about this.

But in that collecting awesome people, I had a, a mentor of mine over 20 years ago, uh, he was a pastor as well, and he said something to me.

maison des braves.
13:36
Exactement.
13:37
Et on n'est pas trop loin de New Hampshire, où c'est « Live free or die », c'est le mot de l'État.
13:43
14:03
Like, I can't believe we did this.
14:04
I can't believe we made this mistake, you know.
16:10
Mais qu'est-ce que vous avez fait? Donc, je
