Other than that, I had spent almost, uh, well, probably over 20 years in education, mostly as a general ed teacher, but also special ed in a variety of different roles.

Some classrooms, some leadership.

And then I began my advocacy work, uh, probably about 10 years ago.

Um, it started out really small.

It was just me trying to find intentional ways to, to get support and also to build and develop support, uh, especially for other parents, specifically dads and dads of special needs.
