Has there been any unique opportunities that you've gotten, in fact, outside of your regular day-to-day work?

work?During the time when I was working in broadcasting, I suppose if you talked about my sort of educational work, most of it was done on an unofficial basis where I would literally be mentoring or training, um, you know, young production team members and on-camera talent as they came up, and that might be in terms of speech, scripting, discipline, timing, research, whatever it might be.

That actually extended.

There was an ex-colleague of mine went and took up a position with NTU, and he used to do a sort of a media course there, and he actually brought a couple of his students, in fact, a whole group of students, across to London a couple of times, and I would go and do a little talk with them and talk about what I do at the Premier League and, and show them the ropes.

What's been fascinating since is that, yes, I still commentate on sport, I still host events, I still do stuff in sports, but I've found that in Singapore there's been a growing demand amongst companies for me to go in there and speak to them about my career, speak about sports and elite-level sports broadcast, but also to apply it across the board.

And what I mean by that is I've worked with various companies.

So I went into a multinational bank, and they said to me, "We want you to speak to people across every level of our company.
