and this was set in that area did you like research locations did you take trips out to these places or

um tons of research um and uh and i've One of the proud factors, like early on back to my wife's help, she's like, the details matter, right? A lot of people can write a book that just kind of skips along, but like the details make a story, make a page, make a chapter, right? So I do a ton of research.

So yes, we live in Maine, a small island off mid coast Maine.

And so when I wrote the first book, it was a boss, Gus Wheeler and his partner, Vanessa are Boston FBI agents.

And so I didn't want to hang it just on Massachusetts.

That's where the first book is located.

So I really wanted to be a little broader than that.
