Why did it have such an impact on you? What was it?

Well, you know, for most of us who love barbecue and pursue barbecue, whether you're in the field cooking it or if you're just an aficionado and you, you're on that trail looking for like great barbecue, we've all had that like aha barbecue moment where we have that first bite that just kind of changes it all for you.

Um, for me, that was Truth.

Uh, the restaurant is in Brenham.

I was pulling through with my family on a little trip out to go camping, and I told the wife that I was like, "Hey, I've got to stop and have some barbecue at this place." And, um, got to the door, no line.

Felt pretty fortunate, and as soon as I walked in, I knew that, uh, I was in a much different kind of barbecue restaurant.

Uh, you c- I could see from the sides that they were, they were all made from scratch and made with love.

I mean, this is an iconic place, but how did this change the game for you?
