We are in an area of disorder and the onset of a historically strong expected El Nino introduces new complications for global agri-food systems and this on top of an array of ongoing challenges.

This includes obviously the six months of war in the Middle East, but also other geopolitical and climate shocks.

IFPRI has been producing a number of rapid analyses on the heterogeneous impact of these discussions, both globally and at country level.
