Where did, where did the love and the want of being part of the design world come for, fr- from, for you? Like, where did it, where did it all start?

Ah, it's actually really interesting.

I mean, I grew up, um, kind of all over Queensland, so I was born in Brisbane.

Um, Dad was a schoolteacher and moved us around quite a lot because he wanted us to get quite a big variety of different types of life in Queensland, so we lived in the country for years, lived on the Sunshine Coast for years, back to Brisbane.

Anyway, when I eventually went to university, my very firsts, uh, degree was Bachelor of Arts, um, majoring in archeology.

I had this really strange obsession for big buildings, and I thought pyramids was going to kind of solve my cravings, and so I learnt, um, Latin and a whole bunch of, like, Biblical Hebrew, as well as [laughs] doing all these really interesting archeology subjects.

After my first 12 months, I kind of realized pretty quickly that, you know, it wasn't really the pyramids, I suppose, I was really interested in.

What's that been like for you in terms of being able to move forward as a designer?
