Uh, tell us about the Golden Bucks reunion.
38:47
Yeah, Bob.
38:48
I just want to remind everybody, the Golden Bucks reunion, uh, for people who graduated 50 years or more, is going to be on September the 18th.
38:56
That's a Friday, at Starnes on Market Street in North Scranton.
39:01
And, uh, it's going to be a great time.
39:04
Sit with your classes and, and go on, you know, on hundreds of nostalgic trips.
39:33
... way every year.
39:35
Yeah.
0:53
Explain to us what it is, Joe.
0:56
It's a reunion of Dunmore High School alumni who graduated 50 years or more.
1:05
And I've labeled them Golden Bucks.
1:10
Similar to what we have at Temple University, we have a...
1:15
We have a golden owls group of alumni that graduated 50 years or more.
1:22
So I just copied that and applied it to Dunmore High School.
2:39
Okay,
2:40
it is September the 18th at noon at Sterna's, which is, everybody probably knows, 120 West Market Street up in Providence.
33:33
to us what it is,
33:34
Joe.
33:36
It's a reunion of Dunmore High School alumni who graduated 50 years or more.
33:43
Mm-hmm.
33:44
And I've labeled them golden bucks, similar to what we have at Temple University.
33:53
We have a golden owls group of alumni that graduated 50 years or more.
34:01
So I just copied that and applied it to Dunmore High School.
35:18
Tell me about it.

18:42
So how do you train the kitchen staff to interact with the guests, considering at other jobs in the kitchen, they probably have never been asked to do that?
18:55
That's a great point.
18:56
And again, we call it back in the house, middle of the house, front of the house for us, the unique design.
19:02
So there may be some employees who maybe aren't excited in that department, and they don't need to.
19:08
But then there's some on our pizza team especially, they are front and center.
19:13
So again, you...
19:16
Their personality will shine as long as their work ethic.

How did you do that?
4:47
What are you actually going to be able to do? Or is the truth of the matter is lawsuits are kind of it.
4:55
Well, no, there's a lot of things that we are doing.
4:57
First of all, we're just making sure the election officials at the local level, first of all, know what their rights are, know what the federal law is.
5:03
They can't all be expected to be experts in this.
5:05
So we're working on an ongoing basis every day with our partners and allies in democracy to make sure that they, first of all, know that.
5:13
Second, we're educating voters.
5:15
We're having community groups and community meetings.

12:12
So when you look at all of that and you're thinking through as someone who's doing the tabletop, who's leading this on behalf of House Democrats, what is your biggest fear and how have you guys worked to make sure that that biggest fear isn't realized?
1:57
And I think everybody has the same question that I do is, How does a guy who grows up in New York his whole entire life become such a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals?
2:08
Well, it's a great question.
2:09
And I do have sort of strange affiliations or I'm a fan of in different sports, sort of a weird construct of different teams.
2:21
But the truth is, a lot of times I say to people, first of all, I didn't grow up in New York City.
2:26
So New York's 25th district is Rochester, New York.
2:29
So probably a six hour drive from New York City to where I live on the southern shore of Lake Ontario, about halfway between Syracuse and Buffalo.
2:40
And although this is not the reason I'm a fan, but just a historical note, the Rochester Red Wings, which are a AAA baseball team and have been around forever and ever, great tradition, minor league baseball.

9:41
What was that like for you and how much did you gloat?

19:00
Mm-hmm.
19:00
I mean, the unique design.
19:02
So there may be some employees who maybe aren't excelling in that department, and they don't need to.
19:08
But then there's some on our pizza team especially, they are front and center.
19:13
So again, you, their, their personality will shine as long as the work ethic.
19:19
So yeah, it is important that they know how to communicate.
19:23
It just comes natural to them.
