Former Iowa State Representative

37:23
How can we get this done?
37:25
Well, we need to start trading the government like our own household budgets or our business budgets that we have, those of us that are business owners.
37:33
But just in your own household, you can't overspend, you know, millions and millions of American families.
37:38
You know, they have to keep their finances in order or they'll go bankrupt.
37:41
They won't be able to pay their mortgage payment or their car payment.
37:45
and they won't be able to afford groceries and so the politicians in washington should act the same but they don't because they're not spending their own money they're spending other people's money and so you know ultimately when you give politicians money that's not theirs which is all the money that they utilize um they're going to blow it and they're going to spend it on things that maybe aren't necessary first and foremost but also that are excessive and so We've now figured out over the last year and a half, we have projected to have a trillion dollars of waste, fraud, and abuse in our government on the federal level alone.
38:20
And so you're talking about Medicaid fraud.

8 MINS LATER

46:07
First, how do you think that we address these issues, the solutions that and the issues that the the left is talking about right now and you're talking about it a good bit you know we find the 90 the 90 10 issues and we focus on those but how do you explain that what you're talking about with cutting the waste fraud and abuse is going to make a difference when it comes to the affordability of things and how do you explain that the debt is actually showing up in the prices of everything that we buy
22:04
Welcome, Joe Mitchell.
22:06
Tony, it's an honor to be here, and it's an honor to be with the Maha crowd, too.
22:12
And, you know, when I announced my run for this election for congressional seat two in Iowa, northeast Iowa, about 10 months ago, we had Maha people behind us immediately because we're going to stand up to make sure that our food supply is safe.
22:26
We're going to make sure that medical freedom exists and we're going to stand up and make sure that the American people are taken care of like President Trump.
22:34
and uh secretary rfk jr are doing right now and you know we just had a resounding win in june we won our primary um overwhelmingly running now through the tape in november with a large coalition of grassroots supporters behind us and ultimately tony from the beginning we said we're going to run on three things number one we're not taking corporate pack money So we're the only Republican in this race not taking corporate PAC money.
23:02
So when we get to Washington, we'll be the only person there not taking money from Pfizer, from General Mills, from Tyson, from all these big, huge, massive companies and corporations that Republicans historically have taken money from for a lot of years.
23:16
But we're going to stand up against the establishment and big, giant corporations that have taken advantage of us.
26:18
Thank
7:36
So what is ecopharmacovigilance and what are the similarities and differences between this and pharmacovigilance? What are your thoughts, Jo?
7:48
Eco-pharmacovigilance is a twist on traditional pharmacovigilance in so much as when we think of pharmacovigilance, I'm not going to do a full quote, but it's along the lines of the science of adverse events.
8:00
And it's intuitively looking at humans as the subject.
8:04
And then when we look at veterinary, it's looking at animals.
8:06
animals, but then for ecopharmacovigilance, there is a twist added there that we are looking at the impact on the environment and those who are coming in contact with the environment.
8:16
So it differs in lots of ways from pharmacovigilance.
8:20
Pharmacovigilance would typically rely on a patient and a healthcare professional interaction, and this occurs due to a monitoring of the use of a medicine.

17 MINS LATER

25:47
What are they and how do they reduce the concentration of medicines in the environment?
10:33
We- we've heard it from Aggie this evening already.
10:37
Labor have traditionally been the party of the working class.
10:42
I guess that's where the name comes from, but we've seen quite strong recomposition of class structures in this country over the last 10, 20 years.
10:53
Labor strongholds now arguably are white-collar, professional, university-educated, inner-city areas, also with large numbers of people on low-wage service sector jobs, um, you know, such as nurses and, and care workers and so on.
11:08
So I suppose a Labor budget, in some way, means something for those people, something which those people see as matching their values.
11:17
I do think it, it will have to avoid government spending cuts in any meaningful way.
11:23
I think this government did come to power with a promise of an end to austerity, um, and I think that probably means, to most people, not letting government services get any worse than they are now and avoiding further spending cuts, although actually the, the second half of the party ... on government spending.
12:23
Yeah.
