And because since we've gone here, it's, it's been a huge, huge help for this team.

I mean, throughout my minor league career, I've known that the defensive position is pretty difficult and it takes a lot.

And I've I've seen it where some catchers would just be in the big leagues or whatever it is just purely because their defense.

And, you know, I've always thought to myself, you know, I can I can do that.

And, you know, I want to be the best defensive catcher that I can be.

So that, you know, I can go out there and help the team out on, you know, the defense side and then let the offense side take over as well when it does.

I'm curious, Joe, what was your honest initial reaction when you were in the minors that the Marlins were sort of turning towards the direction of not calling pitches or calling pitches from the dugout rather than letting their catchers do it?

90 years and still gigging in cantees, right?

Yeah, yeah.

Was there a different look to Pete Fairbanks coming out of the bullpen and then stuff-wise tonight?

Absolutely.

How do you feel comfort-wise compared to how you felt when you first got there?

I mean, yeah, for sure.

It definitely was a little bit, you know, nerve wracking when I first got up.

You know, obviously lots of eyes on me, a lot of expectations for sure and all that stuff.

you know, obviously those first three days were, were, you know, very, not difficult, but there were, there was a lot of emotions going on, a lot of things happening.

And, you know, once those three games kind of got settled in, you know, we were starting to settle in more and get more comfortable and confident with, you know, pretty much everything and ultimately just continue to play the game that I play and you know, be me and good things happen.

So yeah, when did you get settled in? I would say probably That first week, I would say I was definitely feeling nervous and feeling a little bit anxious, but in good ways for sure.
