well i would love for joe i would love for joe to talk about that and also for joe to talk a little bit about some of the other arranging he's done for us on that note

oh thanks you know um Arranging can be kind of a solitary endeavor because you're being very creative, but you have to put it down on paper.

You have to put the dots down.

It's like being an accountant at some point, making sure everything's in the right place.

So to that end, while we don't often collaborate on arrangements within the same movement, I will say that it's funny we're talking about Neil because there's been a couple times where Neil and I have sat down and sort of talked about the The projects we're working on sometimes it's it's blue shift stuff sometimes it's not and and sort of bounce off.

Our projects together sort of like.

Knowing you're on a mission with someone, but even even though you can't see them, you know it has a bit of a video gaming kind of element to it um.

and what about the current conditions you know lots of businesses on the high street are struggling you know we see businesses that are closing all the time what are what's your trading conditions like and how might they be improved you know through the help of local government or local councils or central government how can they all help help Yeah, I mean,

yeah, it's difficult at the minute because, you know, unfortunately, these days, you know, you can have a busy pub and people come in, they see a busy pub, they assume, you know, you're raking it in.

Unfortunately, that's not the case.

You know, you're kind of just, I think if most hospitality people are honest, it's you know, you're kind of, if you're keeping your head above the water, you're doing really well at the minute.

Because there's just so many factors that are kind of, you know, making it food inflation.

It's one of those things just making it incredibly difficult for us.

And, you know, because we try and keep our menu prices to a point.

Yes, that's it.

But where'd you come in on the, on the Wiegand selection and, and specifically as high as they got him?

Yeah, I mean, I think I'm pretty higher than Wiegand on most, uh, just from watching him at the Shrine Bowl.

I think he was, he was the best receiver there all week, like as a pure receiver.

A lot of it, I mean, he works, he had the connection with Mark Gronowski who was his quarterback at Iowa, so they did have that built in, but, you know, his quick twitch, his burst, he ran some really solid routes as a receiver, and I think, you know, he was there to prove that he could play the receiver position.

I think everybody knew about his return prowess, but he was there to prove he could be a solid receiver, and that week he certainly looked like he had the makings of somebody that could become a very solid receiver.

It didn't always show up at times on his Iowa tape, uh, but, you know, what he showed that week really did impress me.

And again, it's a small sample size, but I, I mean, maybe not as a rookie.

Le- uh, le- as we get closer to training camp here, and obviously this will probably be the last time we have you on before the start of training camp here, uh, if you were to be, uh, uh, lose all internet and, and all connections, uh, through the first week of training camp, and then all of a sudden you jumped on and you had to ask, uh, uh, say Alex, uh, uh, five key questions that you, uh, and, and, a- a- maybe that's going a little bit too deep there, but what would be the key questions or, or, or answers you would want to know about what has t- had transpired, let's say, through the first week of training camp, uh, that you would, you would im- want immediate answers on, you know, if you were to, to ask Alex?

Perhaps you can tell us a bit about what's going on here and hopefully show us some equipment.

Sure.

Um, so this is the, uh, what we call the back of house network operations center.

Uh, we moved into here about, oh, almost two weeks ago now.

Um, and this is where the, the beating heart of the network is monitored.

So we have, uh, various desks you can see behind me, um, for the, the various teams.

We can't all sit on each other's laps, so we have to separate ourselves physically.

Yeah.

to say that kayak cross is really your main focus these days?

I was starting to think so, yes.

But then I've actually medalled again in Slalom this time round in World Cup One.

I finished fifth but without the penalty in the final, which was very, very slight.

I would have finished second.

And then in Prague I had a penalty which cost me the win.

So it's hard to say which one's my main event right now.

Can you explain what the difference is?

What was the need to continue to add a cornerback?

Yeah, I just think it's such an important position, and the Steelers in particular have kind of been hurt by injuries there the last few years.

If you look at the outside cornerback room, there's more questions than answers, I think, behind Asante Samuel Jr.

You don't really have a clear-cut fourth guy who can play on the outside.

I mean, you have Corey Trice, but he's been so banged up.

Other than that, it's just kind of a bunch of guys who can compete and fight for a spot, but you don't really have a solidified, you know, number four, I guess, outside cornerback behind Porter, Dean, and Samuel.

And I think Everett kind of gives you that guy, somebody that if he needs to play, he has the traits that he can give you a competent level of play as a rookie and you can kind of develop into more players.
