Yeah.

And I ended up leaving my job at the time, that was with the museum, so in the nonprofit world, and staying home with my daughter for a couple years with everything that happened.
3:48
And then once we were all coming out of that kind of COVID bubble, I was like, "All right.
3:54
I'm ready to get back, like, full force into the workforce." And I asked myself, "What do you really wanna do?" And my answer to myself was, "I wanna be back in the nonprofit industry, and I want to do something with dogs." And so I was looking for different opportunities, and Therapy Dogs of Santa Barbara was hiring, um, like a development kinda coordinator at the time.

And so I applied, got it.
4:14
I mean, it's just absolute kismet.

19:15
Um, it shut us out, and not just me.

23:09
Right.
23:09
Um, but like I said, I could see the darkness coming when, you know, they built up this relationship with us where we seemed comfortable with them, you know, making these introductions and, um, they would ask us to, say, send girls over to see senators.
23:23
No problem.
23:24
You know, we got very comfortable.
23:25
But then came that day when they were asking us to find the women to disappear, um, pe- women that had no family, and we were not cool with that.
23:37
None of us.
23:37
None of us were cool with that.

How does that connect to Sheldon Adelson?
