... a private biotech company, yeah.

And then lo and behold, I got that job, and let, they let me be a consultant to them, so really ostensibly a client to me.

And from there, again, all the good stuff was happening in the board meeting, and the venture capitalists were looking for some cash and equity data that was exclusive to life sciences, and it really did not exist for private companies.

So I started my first sort of life science compensation survey.

And sort of preemptive to that, I had spent, um, time in graduate school getting a master's in human resources in Washington, DC with TRW, and I filled in all these compensation surveys because that's what you do in a traditional company.

And so I put thought into it, and we didn't ever have to redo anything.

You know, I too have been extremely heavily, uh, influenced by the fashion luxury industry, which is where I got my start, and, uh, particularly by brands like Hermes for two reasons that I talk about very often.
