So accepting then that some people will be drilling oilseed rape in drier conditions than they would've liked, is there any special advice that, that you would give about drilling in those conditions?

Jock WillmottGUEST
Anyone who's sort of been and walked their fields or the guys who've been on the cultivators, they all know it is, it is super dry and the driest we've probably had it, certainly more than last year.

Jock WillmottGUEST
So there's no moisture gonna come up from underneath, so we're gonna be relying on making the most of whatever comes out of the sky.

Jock WillmottGUEST
So the first thing is, is having, you know, some tilth that allows you to drill consistently, hopefully at no more than about an inch.

Jock WillmottGUEST
That way, by the time you've rolled it once, possibly twice, if you think it's, it's still a bit lumpy, you know you're gonna make the most of whatever rainfall comes.

Jock WillmottGUEST
That should get to the seed, um, as efficiently as possible and make the most of it.

And anything on seed rates, Jock? I mean, as we get a bit later, uh, uh, pr-probably later than people would've liked, uh, any particular advice, recommendations on that?
