I'll allow you to explain how things have changed because I don't wanna put any words in your mouth or anything, but-

Yeah, so it was time to make a change.

You know, just, I mean, passion was lost, and so we parted ways with our director of operations, and just a couple of months earlier, we had parted ways with our sales manager.

And so we've kind of took a rewind in the business.

And also I was just kind of at a point where I wasn't sure what I was doing, and so I've stepped back into the business.

I'm actually having a lot of fun being back in there.

Didn't realize how much I missed it.

But let's take a step back again and, and for anyone, whether it's early on in the business or even, uh, you know, working up to replacing yourself in the business, what's one piece of advice do you have for everyone here in this room? If you go back and tell yourself, "Do this," or, "Don't do that," or whatever it might be.

Like, here's, here's just what he said when I asked him to introduce himself for the episode.

Well, hi (laughs).

Uh, um, I'm Jimmy Ogle, and I had the privilege of working in Downtown Memphis for 40 years in various public attractions like Mud Island and the Mississippi River Museum, ran the Memphis Queen Line riverboat company, five passenger vessels, uh, Beale Street, the operations of Beale Street, the Memphis Rock n' Soul, the Smithsonian Museum, about the history of Memphis music, the Beale Street Landing Project, landing the big riverboats.

I was a Shelby County historian.

I gave walking tours, uh, up and down the sidewalks and PowerPoint presentations, uh, every day of the year it seemed like.

And my final job, I was duck master at the Peabody Hotel and a clock operator at the FedExForum for the, you know, basketball games.

And from a distance, that's really what it looks like, but Jimmy took me up, uh, real close.

Memphis, Tennessee, is close to some of the nation's best hunting and fishing spots.

When you think about it, you got the Mississippi River right there, and, uh, 70% of the migratory waterfowl fly from Canada down through this waterway here, the M- the Mississippi waterway.

So over here in Stuttgart, Arkansas, 60 miles to our east, is the Duck Calling Championships each year, the duck calling capital of the world.

Jimmy Ogle thinks complaints like this one are missing the bigger point, because what exactly was the alternative for the pyramid?

This is a drain on the city if it left vacant.

What could you do to get the private sector involved? So these are private dollars, private, like I said, it's a stimulus, jobs, all the other stuff, tax revenues.
