I'm not gonna vote." So I wanna ask you, what do you think is the main reason you think people are not engaged with politics and choose not to vote?
1:55
Well, I think there's two reasons.
1:56
It's kind of funny.
1:57
I was watching the Guardians game last night at a bar, um, having dinner and, uh, I was... [laughs] And, and between the game and the commercials, a couple people sitting next to me at the bar who I didn't know, I heard them say, "You know what? I hate politics.
2:11
I wish these commercials were over.
2:12
I can't stand politics." And I think that's one of the big reasons.
2:16
You know, if you look at, uh, there's two things that I believe are happening.
4:48
Who's Jim Renacci's favorite politician currently serving and why?
35:14
I'm not gonna vote." So I wanna ask you, what do you think is the main reason you think people are not engaged with politics and choose not to vote?
35:25
Well, I think there's two reasons.
35:27
It's kind of funny.
35:27
I was watching the Guardians game last night at a bar, um, having dinner, and, uh, I was... [laughs] And, and between the game and the commercials, a couple people sitting next to me at the bar who I didn't know, I heard them say, "You know what? I hate politics.
35:41
I wish these commercials were over.
35:43
I can't stand politics." And I think that's one of the big reasons.
35:46
You know, if you look at, uh, there's two things that I believe are happening.
38:19
Who's Jim Renacci's favorite politician currently serving and why?
14:55
Yeah.
14:55
Um, I'm a big believer in process.
14:57
I was in Washington.
14:58
One of the reasons I left Washington is we don't follow process.
15:02
There is a process right now in this situation in Ohio 7, and that is that Max Miller was elected, received the, uh, primary approval to go to the general election.
15:16
Max Miller is the only one who can step down now.
15:20
The party can't force him to step down.
18:31
... who view the world as left, as, as right verse wrong, not left verse right.
42:49
What happened to the moderate Democrats, Congressman?
42:52
Well, you're exactly right.
42:53
The moderate Democrats were all removed from Washington.
42:56
They all lost their seats.
42:58
The far left went into those districts, got them removed.
43:04
Quite frankly, there was a lot of that going on that eliminated them.
43:10
Now, on the Republican side, You know, there's still some moderates, and they kind of keep their mouth shut.
43:54
Is that going to be an issue that harms the Republicans? Because there's a lot of division going on about these Epstein-filed revelations.
13:42
Again, what do you think is going to transpire?
13:45
Well, what's interesting, and again, I've lived through these and I've lived through shutdowns as well.
13:51
One thing I would give John Boehner credit for is that he didn't let us go home.
13:56
And one of the real problems is the Republicans in the House did a great job.
14:00
They got these bills passed and then they left.
14:02
And now, all of a sudden, the Senate's dealing with them.
14:05
Senate can't get it passed.

6 MINS LATER

19:55
Tell me about your thoughts on it.
23:04
What did you make of the way that these fractures spilled into the public view?
23:10
Well again, we do know there's a fracture in this movement which we'll call MAGA and that's what a lot of people don't realize that MAGA is really a coalition and there is a small fraction of that coalition that is anti-Semitic, whether it's Nick Fuentes and some of the things he was saying, they should be rejected because Donald Trump and the majority elected officials do not really speak this way or do not, they're firmly pro-Israel, their views are anti-Semitic and in many ways, You know, we have this small fracture of the party that really doesn't speak for the entire conservative MAGA movement.
23:56
And it is part of the problem.
23:59
And it does need to be called out.
24:13
Should they have drawn a hard red line on this issue?
24:18
Well, again, I think everybody has to take their own position when you're running for office, which again, I think J.D. is going to be running for president here real soon.
24:27
He's going to try and pull these coalitions back together.
24:31
That may be one of the way he does it.
