On a rare dinner out, Jim and Cath saw an entirely different Simon, introducing himself to people, chatting.

He'd go and sit with young people, and he'd be chatting to them, but he wouldn't take two words to us, but he'd be chatting to them flat out.

You know, you could see, like, he was working the room.

Was like a car salesman and was trying to sell you a bomb.

Simon, Chantelle, and Leila were there. But Simon wasn't having a fond farewell.

He wouldn't let Kath give her a kiss goodbye.

He stood in front of the four-wheel drive holding the baby and wouldn't let her say goodbye to her, and she's screaming 'cause she wants to kiss Kath goodbye, and he wouldn't let her.

He was just really holding onto her, like, you know, terrible.
