What's your pitch to them to try something different?

It's funny because people so often fixate on getting a cheap flight, but they don't think about the hotel.

You know, maybe you can get a $300 flight to London, but then you're gonna be spending 200 plus dollars a night in a hotel.

Hotels are just very expensive.

And if you want to treat yourself and if that's what you're looking for, great, but I think what a lot of people are looking for when they travel is to meet people, to have new experiences.

And in a hotel you're going to be very isolated for the most part, and it'll be relaxing and you'll have control over your situation and people who want to help you, you know, concierges and-

Do you stay with men when you couch surf?

I have, relatively seldom.

And sharks are kids.

Yes, of course, which is pretty much my whole life now.

Yeah, I'm from Maine originally.

I was very lucky growing up with parents who loved the ocean.

So we weren't too far from the coast.

So we'd go to the beach a lot.

And I loved tide pools and snails and crabs and everything.

a good husband.

Can you tell us about that, about why and what you set out to do through the organization?

Yeah.

So my mom is a retired science teacher.

And when I came out of school, a lot of my friends were teachers.

And so I started I was doing research and traveling and I'd been to Australia to work with tiger sharks.

And and so they would say, OK, can you come talk to my class? This is so cool.

And share some photos and videos.

Have you seen a shift in children who you teach? Have you seen a shift in their attitude from the start of your program to the end of your program towards sharks?
