20:10
So Jill, what are some of the most important findings from the recent Status and Achievement of Women in Nevada report?
20:17
Well, I'd love to start by telling the story of how we got here with this report in the first place.
20:23
And that was when Isla from the Nevada Women's Fund said in a meeting that we don't know how to move the needle when we don't know where the needle is.
20:34
And we realized that there hadn't been a report like this in 20 years.
20:38
a comprehensive report looking at how women are doing in each of these key indicators.
20:43
And so we decided to put together a story map, which breaks down not just statewide statistics, but also county by county, recognizing that not all counties look alike and that not all women in each of those counties are facing the same issues.
20:59
And so we looked at everything from economic indicators, the common question of The wage gap and have we moved the needle? We looked at education, representation in government, safety, health, child care, housing, and the list goes on.

What are the stats of violence against women?

off

of your feet? One day.
5:54
Okay, so then let's put that back in context.
5:56
Nevada is only one of four states that meets every other year.
6:00
We meet for four months out of the year.
6:02
So in that 120 days, 1,100 to 1,500 different bill proposals on the whole gamut.
6:10
Then on average, it's about 700 to 900 of those bills get voted on on the floor.
