Um, it also is very clear to me, and Patrick alluded to this, that the ACGME and ABP are not talking to each other.

The right hand doesn't know what the left hand's doing because now they've really set us up for failure.

They have taken away their training during critical time, during their residency for ICU, and then handed us almost complete novice and said, "You train them in 18 year-- 18 months, and oh, by the way, we're doing this because what you're training right now is coming out not competent." And so that really, to me, said, you know, this is 23 years in the making because it was 23 years ago you reduced hours for all the right reasons, but you never made up for loss of training.
