What could you say in terms of difference?
18:57
Well, I've always grown up, like, say, looking at photos of these things, and I love fishing, so I've always watched videos, and I like fish as well, so I've always just taken interest in different fish species.
19:07
And, like, even in videos, you can tell the difference, but as it come on the deck, it was...
19:13
It was honestly like saying for me, and I know it's different for everyone, like how someone can see an estuary perch and a bass in the right environment and not be able to tell the difference.
19:22
But to me, it was like having a yellow fin next to a blue fin apart from the sickles in a way.
19:27
It was chalk and cheese.
19:28
Like the colors down the body went full bronze like a marlin does when they're stressed.

But how would you find... having had some of the best fishermen and women around the country help put you on to fish, how has it influenced your understanding of fishing? Have you been able to, like, do you just walk on and just go, yeah, like, we're going to rip in today? Or have you just tried to be a sponge and soak up as much as possible?

Tell us about that talk and give us a few secrets.
31:03
Yeah, I was lucky enough to be invited over by the boys from Wreckfish and it was a wicked experience.
31:08
Had a heap of people turn up to try and learn about some flathead, which was pretty cool.
31:11
I was happy that people actually wanted to hear from my advice about flathead fishing, but they're probably one of my favourite fish to catch back here in Victoria because I do a lot of it throughout the summer.
31:19
And I think flathead are one of those fish that we often overlook because they're just a simple flathead.
31:24
But when you actually chase them properly and then try and catch and chase bigger flathead, I think they're actually quite a cool fish.
31:31
But, no, it's cool to share some secrets, if you will, just a few tips and tricks.

And what's your biggest flathead? I've seen some monster fish you've caught.
