So what are some of the barriers that we're trying to adjust in just creating a more community-based program?

yeah so two of the main barriers are lack of awareness and cost so we've spoken with a lot of people that show up and they don't know that they qualify for or that they may qualify to become citizens we've also spoken with people who are already citizens they just didn't know that it was even a possibility So lack of awareness, being able to reach the community, meet them where they are, that's something that the program does really well.

We're not just waiting for people to come and find us.

We're meeting the people where they are.

We're going to... going to different stores, different libraries.

We're part of the community, so we're able to talk to them in a casual conversation about what citizenship is or naturalization is, what are the basic requirements.

So that's one of the big positive things that this program has.
