"I'm stopping.

I'm not doing any more, but I, I'd like to join shows now." So I, um, I emailed all the shows, and only one replied, and it was, um, Busch Gardens in Virginia.

So I spent six months in Virginia dancing in that show, which was my first show, which was really fun.

Um, and then I went to university in South Hampton back in England, and I, f- the first year, I did Ceili at the world championships, um, whilst I was at university.

So it's about a, about a two, three-hour drive from my university to dance class, but in the year that I'd had off and then coming into university, I remember seeing people in my age group who'd, like, had hip operations and gone back to competition, you know? And I remember seeing them and thinking, "I've really spooked myself out here from dancing again, because I'm scared that people are gonna judge me if I don't win, and then I have people here that are, like, having surgery and coming back anyway for the love of dance." And I sort of, it gave me a bit of perspective, so I was like, "Do you know what? I do love it.

I'm gonna do Ceili at the worlds, 'cause it's in London." So I did that, and then by the time I'd got back into the swing of things, I was like, "I'm gonna do one more North American Nationals, 'cause it's so much fun." So in my first year, I, I did both of those things, which was quite busy.

Why don't you tell us about what is Jig & A Swig? How did it start? What's the origin story?
