And in seeing how brilliant we really are, and there's nothing really to be afraid of, if that makes sense.
24:55
Yeah.
24:55
Thank you for sharing.
24:58
guess shifting that or um putting a different perspective on that because it's it's really important i think the language and the verbiage is really important and you know i think about um i think about energy too is like you know the the word emotion you know we we react we're so quick to react um and we don't even mean to sometimes we have these triggers and we just automatically respond we automatically get angry we automatically get worked up we automatically get stressed and that is really what we're talking about when we're talking about the concept of energy right because uh they will say you've heard this probably before emotions are just energy and emotion so you've got this uh this emotion of anger that is in response to a sensory condition, something that happened around you.
25:48
So somebody flips you off or cuts you off and all of a sudden there's this rage of sensations that flow through your body and you don't even have time to really understand what's going on because the the sensations in your body have already taken over and just immediately you don't like the feeling and you need some sort of release.
26:09
Oftentimes, it's because this feeling is connected to another time where you had this feeling which really set you off, which really makes you uncomfortable, and you just want to get rid of the feeling as fast as possible.
26:21
So there's this urge to just release it, to yell, to freak out, to throw something.

And then number two, it's just showing how identities are so covert and how they start taking control of a culture and start keeping people stuck and start keeping people on the back end of what's really important.
20:02
Like, this is what I dreamt of.
20:04
Oh yeah, that was it.
20:06
I was like, this is my career.
20:07
This is what I'm doing for life.
20:08
I wanted to pick one thing, work towards that and do that because my dream was that I could make a lot of money.
20:14
Then I could, you know, have a family, raise my kids and not have to work as much since I did all that in my twenties and thirties and then come 10 years into my, my work and I was like, this is just not doing it for me anymore.
20:29
And it was, you know, I remember going to my CEO and saying, it's just not I'm just not supposed to be doing this anymore.

10 MINS LATER

So Jessica, when was the moment that you felt like this small company wasn't gonna be the thing that you were gonna continue to do? And then was there a moment where you had a internal conversation that this corporate identity is not the identity that is gonna take me into the next chapter? And was there a defining moment when that occurred?
