And Jessica, I'm hoping you could walk us through some of the physiology here to understand how and why normal saline nebulizers, what they do and why they do it.
5:34
Absolutely.
5:35
And that would be my pleasure.
5:36
Tony, I have to say that when we talk about nebulized normal saline in general in pediatric respiratory disease, one of the most surprising things I would say is that actually we have very limited evidence about it.
5:52
So despite these being a therapy that we have been using for many, many decades.
5:58
There are very few studies that are specifically looking for the benefit of this therapy.
6:07
So part of the rationale for us to keep using nebulized saline comes not only from these research studies, but also from our understanding of the basic physiology of sodium chloride within the earth.

And can we talk about how this could or what evidence we have that's helpful in bronchiolitis or if it's not?
