What was different?

Um, well, because I was lying down and I couldn't see, and I couldn't lift my head, and I couldn't move my body.

I, I only had a tiny slit of eyesight, but what became really important for me was my ears.

My ears is actually where everything happened.

Um, and since, I'm in this interesting relationship with sound, and it's funny having, you know, being a person that's been in music and, you know, sound has been a part of my life.

Um, but I'm just starting to enter this new understanding of, of sound for myself.

I mean, obviously there's lots of theory around sound and, um, but just on a personal, personal level, I just hear things differently now since that experience.

And these women, the ones who screamed, they're screaming the truth of that moment.
