girl it looked like reagan fought back from based off the blood was everywhere even on her wedding sand jar i mean yes it looked like she fought back what do you was there something you could tell from the investigators that there was like she did fight back it seemed like she died after the baby was taken from her from that blood loss

She fought, and that's what they told us from the beginning.

Reagan fought with everything she had.

And the reason that I think pretty much the reason we really know that she was still alive was because her nail, her fingernail was still in the placenta.

And so that just told them that she was trying to hold on with everything she had to save her babies.

And it's very disturbing.

You know, I don't I hate to be so graphic, but it's just she was alive, breaking all of that, all of the wounds.

How do you think something like this could be prevented?

Um-

Um-I, as I turned down her road, I knew something was wrong.

And as I stepped out of my vehicle and saw the streaks of blood, part of me already knew that something was terribly wrong.

Um, I didn't wanna think it, of course, because I was telling myself a dog might have hurt its foot.

You know, her dog had been out.

And, um, as I got to the door, there was a bloody fingerprint on the doorknob, and something about me was able to have enough of sense to know that I needed to take my shirt and touch the doorknob with my shirt, not touch it with my own hand.

And as I opened it, I saw the bloody footprint, um, in her dining room, and I immediately shut the door.

Ms. Brooks, when did you learn what had happened, and how far along was she in her pregnancy?
