Jesse, from your perspective, did the ruling change anything about how Tricor operates day to day? Or is this more of a manufacturer's problem than the lab's problem?

This is a lab's problem, for sure, from where we see it.

And I'm going to step back to when we initially heard about the LDT ruling.

I know that there's lots of arguments and opinions out there, but this was so disruptive and could have been so detrimental to our community.

It changed everything.

that we did at Tricor in some way, shape or another.

We had to look back and completely reevaluate our test menu because yes, we do run LDTs here.

What would heavier regulation cost patients who need these tests?

But is there more? Can we dive deeper into that topic?

We can always dive deeper.

I mean, if we start looking at specific algorithms and how these choices have changed, what we actually look at is where these tests are enabling the appropriate diagnostics.

So what I mean is that for many of you that are laboratorians that are listening today, C. diff is one of these that has all kinds of different algorithms that you may employ partially, wholly, or even have re-engineered to serve your populations.

And really how our automation and molecular testing has changed the face of this is that we're able to, and in the specific scenario of Tricor, our infectious disease leadership and Dr. Carissa Colbreth, Dr. John Fissel, and Dr. Gabby Aribe have done a really nice job to identify and support different areas.

Tricor is a centralized testing model, very much like, say, LabCorp, where we're supporting Many different hospitals and collection sites here in New Mexico.

The reason why I go to this specifically is the use of the C diff algorithm works much differently in the hospital that you can see out of my window and the hospital that is in someplace like Roswell, New Mexico, which is about a three hour drive from where I stand today in Albuquerque.
