Overdose deaths, the goal's always zero.

But something that is encouraging, according to some statistics that I have, between the years 2020 and 2024, overdose deaths reduced in Iredell County by 32%.

The state average during that same period of time was 16%.

So it's double the reduction, which is awesome.

And you know, the great thing about the Walk for Recovery is, and you talked about, and you're right about that, there's probably not a family anywhere that mental health substance use something has not touched or is not touching.
