And I'm curious what lessons from those service days still guide the way you lead and make decisions today?

I was super blessed to have the opportunity to be in the Navy, and as part of that, it's a different environment, obviously, in the Navy.

There's a different level of connection with your team.

Your team doesn't just come in and clock in and clock out.

You're on missions together.

That means you're deployed for six months at a time.

You're living, you're sleeping, you're working with each other all the time.
