What inspired that? What was the thinking?

I think, so over the last, I remember having a conversation with Half Queen actually like a few years ago and we were talking about, I think in my head when I first started performing, I had this thing where I was like, I need to be wearing something different for every show that I do because obviously there's photos and I'm posting things and so I wanted everything to be different and I used to stress about it.

so much and obviously the pressure of like finding new things or like all of that was just a lot and then we had a conversation about having like almost like a uniform and like if you look at there's like if you look at artists and what they're wearing a lot of the time it's either you know it does come in like a I guess a certain package of like types of clothes or whatever.

So I decided that my uniform was gonna be a black tank top, which is great because no one remembers that you wore, like no one would ever be like, oh my gosh, you're wearing a black tank top again.

Like it's just basic enough where it's like...

No one can hit you up.

Yeah, you know what I mean? And so I've kind of just like made that my thing now.

What was the reference or inspiration behind that and then what's the message?

It's

like, well, I mean, it's one of those things where I guess I was probably learning about it when I was going through, like, stuff.

And, you know, you start, like, doing heaps of research and, like, you know...

Yeah, you're just trying to get to the bottom of what the fuck is going on.

But it was a term that was coined by a psychologist, I think in the 70s, Dorothy Tenolf.

And so it's basically the idea of romantic infatuation that's characterized by being obsessed with somebody, can't stop thinking about them, idealizing somebody, projecting your wants and hopes onto somebody.

without necessarily the reciprocation being there.
