What has happened on that front?
4:15
I know that it is harder and harder to build affordable housing that, you know, when you are trying to finance an affordable housing project, in this case, affordable, I call it the capital A affordable housing, meaning affordable.
4:29
It is affordable, costing less or 30% or less of the household income of someone under the area, 60% of the area median income, if that makes any sense.
4:41
So it's so much harder to build.
4:44
I know that from my role on the board of the Housing Commission, they're working on a project that I think has... maybe 15 different funding sources in order to get the project through.
4:56
The head of the Housing Commission recently said he was on a closing call with 37 people, half of whom were attorneys.
5:05
So it's a combination of the sort of regulatory hoops that you have to jump through to build any kind of new construction now, in addition to the complications of trying to build housing that is not designed to make a profit.
8:31
Jessamyn, the project that you mentioned that is underway, how long has that been underway? How long has that been either in the planning stage or wherever it is now?
