I was just going to ask, I know you said you usually like to share with youth and I know we have a topic on hand today, but I want to ask, can you give us like a snippet of the story that is your background that kind of led you down this path?
4:46
Yeah, I'll give you the very, very, very short version because it's a long one.
4:49
So I grew up in a really small town and I was raised in a home with severe addictions.
4:54
And so I spent a lot of time in women's shelters when I was a kid.
4:57
And by the time I was 15, we actually lost our home and basically... for lack of better terms, became homeless and had to kind of start my life on my own at 15.
5:06
So I came to the city from this small town on a bus with nothing but my backpack and my bus ticket and kind of started a life, got registered in high school, got myself a job, lied on an apartment application saying that I was 18 so that I could get a place to live, was going to school, was... working full time so that I could pay to live on my own.
5:27
Meanwhile, nobody knew like nobody in school, everybody assumed I lived with parents because I kept it a secret for a long time because I thought You know, people were going to what you see in the movies.
